Garrett Leight California Optical (GLCO) was launched by Garrett Leight in 2010. Garrett was inspired by his father, Larry, who was the founder and Creative Director of luxury eyewear brand, Oliver Peoples. When Larry Leight sold his company to Luxottica in 2008, Garrett realised he wanted to keep his family legacy alive by launching his own eyewear company.

He opened his first concept store in Venice, California in 2009, and then went on to found GLCO a year later. Garrett Leight set out to create a cult classic brand for a new generation. His first collection reflected the creative and intellectually diverse community of his childhood.

Garrett Leight glasses frames feature classic shapes with a timeless aesthetic. These are frames that never go out of fashion. All Garrett Leight frames are made from high quality materials and the designs are renowned for their subtle details and technical features; their fit, proportion, and comfort are paramount.
