Oscar Magnuson Spectacles was founded by its namesake in Stockholm in 2006. Oscar’s passion for contemporary art, design, fashion and music has influenced his distinctive creative vision — one that continues to evolve through the world around him and his many years of experience as a designer. 

The OM collection is known for its bold yet refined design and a carefully considered palette of monochrome colours. Every frame is handcrafted by skilled artisans across the many stages of production in the brand's Italian factory. All sunglasses are fitted with premium, high-precision optical glass lenses.

Oscar Magnuson is an ethical and environmentally forward-thinking company. All eyewear frames are made from plant-based bio-acetate and all lenses are made from Bio Nylon, also plant-based. The brand takes pride in presenting its products in minimalist packaging to reduce waste and strives to use natural materials and processes with minimal waste.

Oscar Magnuson eyewear is designed in Sweden and made in Italy. By choosing European suppliers, the brand actively works to reduce its CO2 emissions.

The frames come in beautiful vegetable-tanned leather cases sourced from a local Swedish eco-processing tannery that works exclusively with byproduct material. Packaging is kept to an absolute bare minimum to reduce waste.
