Hervé Domar Eyewear

Hervé Domar Paris is a French luxury house renowned for its collections of eyewear, fine jewellery, fragrances and leather goods. Hervé Domar trained originally as a designer, working across eyewear and accessories before going on to create perfumes and jewellery — eyewear remains where his career started, and the line he returned to after developing the rest of the business.

Every frame is made by hand in France. The collection is built around three materials, each suited to a different mood: acetate for daily wear, metal frames finished in white, yellow or pink gold with a retro shape and horn for something more occasion-worthy. A handful of styles are set with Swarovski crystals and each pair comes with a case handmade in Italy.

The shapes themselves are kept deliberately plain. Rather than competing for attention, Hervé Domar’s frames are designed to sit quietly and let the wearer’s own features and expression come through. 

Hervé Domar has also introduced a Bio Edition, the brand’s first organic and vegan eyewear collection, which includes everything from the frames down to the case and lens cloths. The frames are made from cellulose acetate certified biodegradable under ISO 14855. They’re handmade in the French Jura, which keeps production traceable and consistent and gives the collection a smaller environmental footprint than the brand’s standard frames.
